Hello! I have been a Curl Specialist since 2006 and have dedicated my entire hair career to only cutting curly hair. I spent the majority of my curly career at world-renowned salons in Los Angeles, California as a Curl Specialist and Educator. I am so happy to have settled down in NC, surrounded by nature, where I can tend to my garden and live a peaceful minimalist lifestyle with my cat, Poppy. I specialize in wavy, loose, and tight curl patterns (specifically curl types 2A-4A) and feel most inspired by beachy/bohemian styles where curls are encouraged to be free, without excessive use of product.

I am able to achieve this look on my clients by customizing each haircut to their unique curl pattern(s) and using the correct products (ideally no-tox) for their specific curls. My goal is for my clients to not only love their curls when they leave my chair but also feel understood, listened to and more knowledgeable about their curls and recreating the salon look at home.

**Important notes for your appointment: Prep for your appointment by having your hair detangled, free of excess oils and styled as you normally would wear it curly. If you have very dense and/or long hair please call before booking to ensure you are scheduled enough time to care for your curls. Each cut is customized to your curl patterns and includes thorough education on how to care for and style your curls to keep them happy. Due to the physical strain it’s taken on my hands over the past 18 years, I no longer cut dense “z” pattern curls (specifically curl types 4B and 4C)
